sick rottweiler puppy

I have a 9 week old rottweiler and today I noticed his eyes were watery and his poop is really runny.

I strongly recommend that you take your pup to your veterinarian for an examination. Runny eyes and diarrhea in puppies can be signs of serious dog illnesses, including Canine Parvovirus which Rottweilers are especially susceptible to.

It's always better to be safe than sorry with puppies, and easier to treat something when it's in it's early stages. Diseases like Parvo can be fatal very quickly if left untreated, so please get your pup to a vet right away.

I brought my Rottweiler puppy home from the airport on the 24th and he seemed fine. Two days later he had loose stools one - two times so I thought I put too much yogurt in his food. The next day his stools were fine and I took him for his 1st check up since I had him. They checked his stool and said he seemed good. The next day he stopped eating and drinking, he threw up, and he just wanted to sleep. We took him to the vet first thing in the morning and he tested positive for parvo. It has now been 6 days of treatments and no improvement, in fact today he looks much worse, he is down to 7lbs and his white blood count is down to .5 which is like non exsistent. It is pure he** watching this little man suffer so horribly. If your puppy has vomiting,and or loose stool, is tired and don't want to eat, PLEASE do not wait! Take them to the vet immediately!
