my puppy is four months old and is about the size of a 1 week old puppy. should i get this checked?

Hi Mollie
Well, if your puppy is a small breed pup, it's quite likely that he is no bigger than a one week old pup of a larger breed.

However, if he's tiny compared to other puppies of his own breed, then you would most definitely need to have a veterinarian examine him. If he's eating and drinking normally, doesn't seem sick and is gaining weight, he's maybe just a tiny dog.

Definitely have a vet check him out though.
