We bought a pekepoo puppy last week, he seemed happy and healthy. He doesn't eat the whole 2 1/4 cups of food that's they say to feed him and just today he started sneezing.

Should i be worried?

Hi Dawn
Whenever you bring a new pup into your life, you should have him/her checked out by a veterinarian within a day or two.

It's important to make sure that he's up to date on all his puppy shots, has been treated for puppy worms and has no underlying health issues.

Puppies are all different, and their appetites vary. Plus for the first few days or a week, new pups often go through a period of homesickness and may have less appetite and energy than usual. You can learn more about this on my Bringing Home A New Puppy page.

I'm afraid that I can't say whether the loss of appetite and sneezing is because your pup has one of the common dog illnesses that puppies are vulnerable to, or not. But I recommend that you have him checked out by your vet as soon as you can. It's always better to be safe than sorry.

Best of luck with your pup.
