sore between dogs thighs

I have a 7 month old toy schnauzer, and it look more like acne, not a rash between his thighs, it's not a lot, and a little on his stomach not much.

He eats blue food, which is a organic brand. please advise me. thank you, Brenda Moses

There are so many possibilities for bumps and lumps in dogs that it's impossible for me to say what it is that's causing these little sores on your dog I'm afraid.

As he's eating a quality, organic food, it's unlikely to be a nutritional deficiency, but it's still possible it could be dog food allergies that are to blame.

If he gets hot and spends much time lying outside on damp ground, or a non-absorbent floor indoors such as glazed tile etc., then it's possible it's a staph infection.

Only your vet can make a diagnosis I'm afraid, and I'd recommend having him take a look at these little blisters/sores and see if they need any treatment. For now you can clean the area with warm water and an antibacterial cleanser to help ensure that infection doesn't set up. Make sure you also dry him very well.

But in order to get to the root of the problem he needs a professional evaluation. Hope this helps some. Best of luck with your dog.
