sores, puss bumps on stomach of a 7 week old pit bull.

i just noticed that my 7 week old pit bull pup has puss bumps or sores on her stomach. the puss is yellowish.

what can that be and what can i give her to take it away?

It sounds as though your puppy may have a staph infection on her belly. This can be caused by sleeping on damp or dirty ground.

In mild cases you may be able to remedy the problem by washing the area twice daily with antibacterial soap/cleanser and keeping it dry and clean. However, in more severe cases antibiotics are often needed and you'd have to get your pup to a veterinarian for the right medication.
