Staffy pup 7 month old as had click in rear leg for about 3 months and now is limping after resting.
Hi Steve
This is something you need to have your veterinarian check out for you as it could indicate a hip problem.
Staffy's aren't a breed specifically known for experiencing hip/joint problems such as dysplasia, but it's still possible that there could be something wrong - either an abnormality that is genetic, or an injury that has caused some damage.
At 7 months old your pup could be X-rayed if necessary and the condition of his hip should be evaluated pretty accurately. If you don't get it looked at it's possible that this could deteriorate and end up causing long-term joint problems.
There are all sorts of treatment options if there is a problem, but you need to find out exactly what's going on first. He is likely in some degree of pain right now (bully breeds have a high pain tolerance and often don't complain but that doesn't mean he's not feeling it!) and needs you to help him get better.
I wish you the best of luck and hope that your pup is doing better soon.
