swollen genital area

I have a puppy who is about 7 weeks old and her private area has gotten swollen and its hard for her to walk do you have an idea of what it might be or any medications i could use?



Hi Daniela
It sounds as though your pup has an infection of some sort. If it's bad enough to make walking difficult it must be extremely uncomfortable for her, poor girl!

I can only recommend (strongly) that you take her to your veterinarian right away as she probably needs antibiotics to get rid of the infection.

This sort of situation needs professional evaluation and won't improve on it's own, so please have your pup seen by your vet asap.
