swollen neck gland in young puppy

4 week old standard poodle puppy with swollen neck gland....

Sounds as though it could be a condition called 'Puppy Strangles' which is sometimes seen in puppies under 6 months old.

It needs to be treated by a veterinarian and a combination of antibiotics and corticosteroids is normally given. Left untreated it can cause some serious problems so I strongly suggest that you take your pup to your vet just as soon as you can.
