three day old chihuahua has a runny nose

my three day old chihuahua has a runny nose. it is clear looks like water. when he breathes it sounds like he has water in his nose.

he is eating good and looks healthy. what can i do for this?

If you're bottle feeding this little guy he could have possibly inhaled some milk, if he's nursing this is unlikely unless he has a palate defect or something similar.

It's also possible that he's contracted a respiratory tract infection, or some other illness.

Luckily, he seems to be eating well and not showing signs of illness, but I would recommend that you have him examined by your veterinarian to make sure all is well.

Very young puppies can get sick extremely quickly, and once they begin to go 'downhill' it can be difficult to bring them back. Hopefully this isn't anything serious, but it's always better to be safe than sorry so talk this over with your vet.
