What is the best treatment for a 2 week old puppy who has a docked tail that has gotten infected?

If the tail seems red, swollen, hot or is 'oozing' you need to have your vet take a look at it. It probably needs anti-biotics.

Meanwhile, try to keep it as clean and dry as possible. Make sure the puppy's bedding is kept dry and replaced regularly, and discourage other puppies from sucking on this pup.

Using an antiseptic wash or wipe to gently clean the 'stub' regularly should help, and dusting lightly with a little plain, unscented baby talc or cornstarch powder will also keep the moisture at bay. But it does need to be seen by a vet as soon as possible.
