Urgent Promblem With 12 week old puppy

MY 12 week old chihuahua has suddenly gotten a swollen head and face. She is not in any pain, or at least doesn't seem to be.

What could the cause of this be.

I'm afraid this is exactly the sort of problem that needs immediate, hands-on veterinary help and isn't a good fit for this sort of Q&A page!

A swollen head and face could be due to allergies (insect bites/stings or a reaction to puppy shots, infection or even possibly something to do with the brain perhaps (I'm not a vet so this is only my personal opinion!). Any of these need to be evaluated by a professional so please get your puppy to your own veterinarian so that you can get to the bottom of this.
