walking my puppy

by helen
(uk)

german shepherd 11 weeks had second injection 4 days ago.

can i take her for walks yet ?

Hi Helen
It's best not to take your pup to places where other, possibly unvaccinated, dogs frequent until he's had all his shots.

This is usually somewhere between 12 and 14 weeks of age, after the third set of combination vaccinations.

However, visiting the homes of friends or relatives who have vaccinated dog, obedience schools where puppies are required to be vaccinated and other similar places may be safe. There are no guarantees though. It's really safer to wait.

good luck with your puppy.
