Pitts Are The Best!
by: Anonymous

What a great story! And despite the hysterical and ridiculous reputation that pit bulls suffer under, they are the best family dogs! In England, where the breed orginated, they are nicknamed the "nanny dog" because they are so very good with children. As a breed, they are NOT aggressive towards people - they were breed to help farmers with livestock and no farmer would tolerate a dog that would be aggresive towards people. In my experience, collies, chihuhuas, daushunds and dalamations are far more likley to bite a human, and they are considered "family dogs". The two Lhasa Apsos around the corner from me ran across the street from their home and attacked and tore up my neighbors' 45 pound dog. Judge the deed, not the breed!

What a great story!
by: Sue

I just love happy endings, and Dexter is certainly one lucky dog. He and Lexi are cuties!

With all the biased, negative press that Pitbulls receive, it's wonderful to hear about the good stuff.

Thanks for sharing this heartwarming story.
