What could be wrong with my dog?

My dog is 12 years old and has started breathing very fast and heavy, she is gagging, and she is foaming at the mouth.

Could this be the end for her?

I'm afraid I can't say what's wrong with your dog, she needs to be seen urgently by your veterinarian though.

As she's 12 years old, it's possible that she is experiencing heart problems or some other serious issues, but it could be something unrelated to her age.

Only your vet can make a diagnosis so please have her looked at asap because she is likely suffering right now and needs you to get her some help.
