What Puppies Are To Me...

A puppy is a fluffy friend.
They always have a paw to lend.
They lay around and sleep all day,
snoozing in that puppy way.

A puppy always makes you giggle,
you have to love watching their tail wiggle.
They are so small and mean no harm,
they all have that puppy charm.

They have no say in what you do,
even though they rely on you.
Puppies are so cute and sweet.
Even new puppies are fun to meet.

Barking and howling,
sniffing and prowling.
Puppies are the best for snuggles,
be poodles, sheherds, mutts, or puggles.

Give them lots and lots of love,
for they are angels sent from above.
No matter what you make them wear,
they always have some love to share.

Their wet kisses soak your face.
Puppies love to give a chase.
Soft, silky fur tickles your nose,
they love to nibble at your toes.

When their innocent eyes say I love you,
you can tell how much they do.
No matter with what owner they live,
they always have companionship to give.

The perfect friend and more,
lies at your feet, on the floor.
Though there are some things you must give up,
it's all worth it to have a pup.

So, get up now, go to your pooch.
Give the fellow a hug and a smooch.
