What's the best easy to find puppy food?

I'd love to give my pups the best, but I'm looking to find a puppy food that I can find at Walmart that's good quality.

The 3 most popular ones they had to offer were Iams, Pedigree, & Purina.

I was just curious to what your thoughts were as to what the better choice is?

Hi Amy
Pet food definitely can seem expensive when you're looking to feed premium ingredients, but it's more cost-effective than it looks!

High quality dog foods, with premium, highly-digestible ingredients, provide more nutrition per cup than cheaper, generic brands that contain a lot of fillers and other junk that passes right through your dog. That means you need to feed your puppy/dog less of a good quality food than a cheaper brand - plus he will benefit health-wise and ultimately that leads to less veterinary bills.

However, if you want a straight pick from the 3 brands you mention, then in spite of concerns over a drop in quality in terms of ingredients, I would personally go with the Iams range.

If you want to go to Petsmart rather than Walmart, there is a better selection of quality foods that are still affordable. The Royal Canin, Blue Buffalo and Wellness ranges are all good.

Hope this helps, best of luck with your puppy.
