My puppy has small white sores (look as though they contain pus?) near and on the side of her vagina. She licks them often and I'm not sure what they are.
She was recently on Clavamox for a urinary infection (crystals starting). These just showed up over the weekend. She is 12 weeks old. Any idea what this may be?
Hi Rae
This is really a question for your veterinarian as it's impossible to diagnose something like this online.
As she's on antibiotics it could be a thrush infection perhaps, or it could be a staph infection of some sort... this often causes tiny pustules with a white-top, however there are obviously a few options.
I'd really recommend that you have your vet take a look at her so that you can get an accurate diagnosis. That's the only way to be sure that you're getting her the help she needs.
Sorry I could help more, but I wish you the best of luck and hope your pup is doing much better soon.
