My King Charles Spaniel throws up at least once a day.
He does not show any other signs of being sick. He is active, has an appetite etc.
What could be wrong with him?
Hi Laura
Dogs can suffer from all sorts of digestive issues, many of them similar to the ones we humans have.
IBS, acid-reflux, 'bilious' attacks and so on aren't terribly rare.
As your pup seems happy and healthy otherwise, I doubt he has a contagious disease/illness, it's more likely that he's experiencing one of the above or something similar.
Sometimes a puppy or dog vomits up foam/bile when his tummy is too empty, and this is especially common in the smaller breeds as they have fast metabolisms and use up their food quickly. If your pup vomits first thing in the morning it could be that his tummy has got really empty overnight. You can correct that by giving him a couple of plain dog biscuits before bedtime. Depending on when and how often you feed him, you should be able to tell if this could be the problem.
The only way to find out for sure what is going on though is to take your pup to your vet for a check up. He will be able to make a diagnosis and recommend any treatment if necessary.
There are also many natural products that help to balance a dogs digestive system and they can be very helpful and don't have 'medicinal' type side effects or anything like that. Only Natural Pet Probiotic Blend for Dogs and Cats is a good example of these, and you can check out my Natural Remedies For Dogs page to learn all about these type of products.
Hope this helps, best of luck with your pup.
