Why is my puppy wheezing?

In an older pup there could be several different possibilities for wheezing, ranging from allergies to infection etc.

However in a week old pup the most likely reason is that he's inhaled some fluid. In new born puppies inhaling milk into the lungs can quickly turn into pneumonia which is very serious, so if he is showing any signs of illness, not nursing, or the wheezing doesn't disappear within a very short while, please get him to your vet asap.
