My female maltipoo is 3.6 oz at 10 weeks. How big do you guess she will be?
Hi Shelly
It's really very difficult to guess at adult size of a puppy at such a young age, especially one that is a hybrid (parentage contains more than one breed).
There can be a big variation in sizes between puppies in any litter, and the smallest one when young isn't always the smallest when full grown.
By the time your puppy is four months old, you will be able to make a more accurate assessment. Generally, a puppy is about half it's adult weight by four months. But this is only an estimate, it's not an exact science.
Maltese usually grow to somewhere between 4 and 7lbs as adults, Poodles (toys) to between 5 and 7lbs. Your puppy could fall anywhere between these figures, but could also be smaller (or larger) eventually.
