yorkie shaking and stiff legs

My 1 year yorkie all of a sudden laid down and started shaking and back legs went straight out and stiff then he urinated and laid there in it.

Then when he started to walk away it was like he was a drunk dog and is still shakes while sleeping.

It sounds as though your dog had a seizure of some sort, and there are a few possible reasons for this. They include hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), epilepsy, other neurological conditions, poisoning and more.

I'd strongly suggest that you have your pup examined by a veterinarian just as soon as you can so that you can make sure there's no underlying health condition that needs treatment.

Sometimes a dog will have a seizure one time, and never again. Other times it may become a more regular occurrence and if that happens your vet will treat him for you.

Do get this little guy seen by your vet asap and explain what happened so that you can get any help if needed. Best of luck with your dog, hope he's back to normal soon.
