Yorkie very lethargic and shaky

hi, my 10 month old toy yorkie started being very lethargic yesterday and has continued on until today he is really shaky too and he never shakes, normally he is really hyper but hasn't been, he didn't even sleep with me last night which is so out of his character!

he keeps his tail between his legs (which is a very tiny tail but normally its up) his nose is still damp and cold so i am very confused and worried!

what do you think it could be please help this is not like him he won't even get up and come when i call him!!!

The symptoms you describe mean that your pup is sick in some way, he could be in pain and is definitely distressed and not feeling well.

I'm afraid I can't help in this situation as there are a huge number of possible reasons for him to be sick. If he's had all his puppy shots then he should be protected against the most serious contagious dog illnesses, but he could still have an infection, virus or parasitic illness, have ingested something dangerous, have gotten hurt.... and much more.

Only your vet can make a diagnosis and get him the treatment he needs so please get him examined right away. I wish you the best of luck and hope he's doing much better soon.
